The first question

Is this job open to people in India?

Most Japan postings never say. We read each posting and turn what it states into simple tags.

What about my Indian degree?

Japan’s main work visa for engineers (Engineer / Specialist in Humanities / International Services) accepts a relevant degree from an Indian university, or enough relevant work experience. The employer and Immigration Services decide each case.
